Greetings! I'm here (Ms. Olson in Minnesota). I've told my kids about this upcoming project on our class Ning and chatted in class about it. They've seen a bit of Opposing Views, but we've not spent much time on it just yet. We look forward to working with you!

Some particulars: It's an AP Lang class, 14 seniors, in Minneota Minnesota. I'll set up a page with links and such soon.

@Karla: I'm excited! Today was our first day in two weeks to be able to access internet at school--a virus wiped out our school server, which has slowed us a bit. We're in Batesville, Arkansas, an AP English Lang class of 22 students: 14 in one section, 8 in another. We meet on a block schedule: 90 minutes a day, every other day.

I've asked my students to submit their top three topic choices. We'll try to have them posted to wiki by end of this week. Hopefully, we can create teams of students who've selected similar topics. Feel free to add ideas/comments to any of the pages of this wiki. I've only created a shell for us to work within.

Hi...just commented on the calendar page, but will add here, too.

Again, I have 14 students. We're on a regular period schedule, 50 minutes per day, five days a week.

I've viewed your topics and I think they're just fine...is it okay if I share with my kids tomorrow-Tuesday in class and have them sign up on teams?

I have added an introduction-esque page for my class. :)
