Following Ms. Olson's lead, I'll formally introduce the Arkansas crew.

We are also an AP English Language class of 22 juniors at Batesville High School in Batesville, Arkansas. Our district includes four elementary campuses (k-6), one junior high campus (7-9), and our high school campus (10-12). We have about 500 students in the high school. Though our school is located "in town," we live in a rural area, located at the foothills of the Ozark Mountains.

We've been out of school this week (Jan. 26-28) for an ice storm. Most of us have been without power (not fun). But, I'm certain we're all enjoying a little break from school!

We're very excited to have two other schools joining us for this project: one from Minnesota, the other from Pottsville, Arkansas. We hope to make friends, have fun, and stretch our minds and powers of reasoning.
